County Extension Agent
The Hopkins County 4-H Council hosted their annual 4-H Day Camp on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Ag. Workers’ Building and City Pool in Sulphur Springs. Each year Council Officers come together to plan a day of fun filled games, food, and swimming to promote member relations, leadership, teamwork, and physical activity. This year’s event consisted of a scavenger hunt, balloon shaving contest, banana relays, an arts & crafts flower pot painting activity, water games, pizza, and swimming. Elizabeth McDonald, 4-H Council President and Travis Hicks, 4-H Council Vice-President were excellent group leaders and role models for the day.

Bailey and Breanna Bowen are busy working on their patriotic flower pots.
