A group of dedicated runners were at the Hopkins County Civic Center, ready for Saturday morning's
5K Fall Festival Run.

 

5K Run Sets Pace For
Busy Day at the Fall Festival

You certainly had to be dedicated to running (or news reporting) to make your way to the Hopkins County Civic Center, on a cool autumn morning, to participate in the Fall Festival 5K Run, following an out-of-town ballgame, on Friday night. But, there was a large group ready for the challenge, Saturday morning. And, they were off along the course down Houston Street to Connally, back to Houston, and then back to the Civic Center.

 

 

 

Winners were: Victor Rodriguez, 1st place; Jeff Haygood, 2nd place; and Chris Pearson, 3rd place.
