We played great as a team," commented Paul Tullis,"We came out strong and took advantage by scoring 4 runs early in the first inning. We had a couple of huge plays, Tanner Potts made a great play at the bottom of the 5th with runners on scoring position, Corbin Flora pitched a great game with 9 strikeouts and a huge pick off at the Quitman's leadoff batter in the top of the 7th. We made a couple of mistakes that could've cost us the game, but we managed to pull ourselves together and got a much needed 4-3 victory.
