Summer Vacations

Everyone was looking forward to their last day of school and eager to start the summer break. Some people were just looking forward to rest and relaxation but a few had some plans they couldn't wait to do. There was definitely excitement going on everywhere as the last day came to a close.

Summer plans from Bowie Elementary

Paige, 3rd grader, plans on going camping at Beavers Bend.

 

Planning on a trip to the beaches in Florida, is on Hayden Hurst's agenda, 3rd grader.

 

 

 

Jolee Fox, 3rd grader, is headed to South Dakota with her family. She's excited to see Mount Rushmore.

 

Jacob Smith, a 4th grader, is going to the beach and Beavers Bend. He's looking forward to camping & fishing.

 

Mrs. Cassie Fleming, 4th grade teacher, has plans to remodel her new home and have fun with her 4yr. old

 

 

Principal Carol Worsham will be preparing for the moving of schools, going to Galveston to visit her grandson,

looking forward to seeing her college son from Austin and two daughters from Houston, and going to the Elementary

Principal Conference in Austin.

 

Bowie Elementary is having 2 summer reading programs for the kids over the summer:

                          talking picture books that teach children to read

Middle School plans for the Summer

 

Autumn Adams, 8th grader, says she has a very creative family and they're looking forward to a

summer full of fun. She's planning on going to Birch Creek, Six Flags, and playing on a slip-n-slide.

 

June 3rd is Jake Couch's birthday and he is looking forward to going coon hunting. He is also going to a

Rodeo Bible Camp and Missouri to visit his grandparents. Jake is a 7th grader.

 

Josh and Jake Couch are twins. Josh will be enjoying all the fun and adventures that Jake will except for one big difference, Josh has his own business of raising and breeding show pigs. He will be attending the Hunt County Breeding Show this summer.

Erick Weeks, 8th grader, will be participating in "Edge" this summer, going to Abilene to visit his brother,

going to Dallas shopping and to visit his grandmother, and Arkansas to Magic Springs Amusement Park.

 

Coach Chris Valdovinos will be doing the "Edge" program, preparing to move into the new school,

and going somewhere with beautiful beaches.

 

 

Seth Cruz, a graduating Senior, will be heading to boot camp for the Air Force.
