Unique Antique Find.....
What is It?

Is it some kind of "bean pot?" Is it something to use as a mortar and pestal? Those have been the suggestions of a unique antique find, that I "spied" at an Estate Sale, last weekend. But, no one knows for certain what it is! It's made out of cast iron and looks to be old, but do you know what it was used for? Someone suggested that it might have been used to grind hot peppers?

 

 

 

On a recent popular story, we received 49, 971 hits, so surely there is one of you readers, out there somewhere, who knows what this "find" is.....please share with us what it is!
