It's that time of year, when ghosts and gobblins prowl the woods of Hopkins County.....and some of the scariest can be found in the haunted bottoms near Arbala, in Southern Hopkins County. And, this Friday night marks the opening of the Arbala Haunted Woods, where you're sure to get the frights of your life and enjoy the thrill of seeking out the haints and ghosts of the past!

This year's Haunted Woods will be open on October 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th. You will begin on a hayride that leaves the Arbala Community Center and travel deep into the woods, where you will leave the trailer and walk the path, on foot, through the woods. The trailer will be waiting for you "if you make it out!"

Stops will include a butcher shop, The Bloody Cafe, and of course, the cemetery. There will be a funeral home, the witches haunt, clowns, a pumpkin patch, and if that isn't enough, there's the mental hospital to take care of you, if you've completely gone crazy!

Friday night features a "Home Game Special," where you can bring a stub from the football game and receive a $2.00 off the admission price. Tickets are $15.00 and available at the gate.

Proceeds from the Arbala Haunted Woods support the Boy Scouts of America and to maintain the Arbala Community Center.

Make your plans to attend for the "fright of your life!"
