Armstrong Named New President of
Galyean Insurance

Today, Wayne Galyean, Director, Board of Director’s-Galyean Insurance Agency, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alliance Bank, announced that Wendi Armstrong has been named President of Galyean Insurance Agency.

 

“I am very pleased to make this announcement today.  Wendi has shown incredible drive and vision in her role as Vice President and General Manager and we expect in her new role as President even greater things,” stated Wayne Galyean.

 

“It has been a great pleasure working with and guiding Wendi over the past several years, which has prepared her for this transition of increased responsibility.  I am excited that I will remain involved in the company that I love on a day-to-day basis.  I will continue to serve on the Board, as well as, remain critical in business development, community affairs and general oversight,” added Galyean.

 

 

 

  

Armstrong’s most recent experience includes her role as Vice President and General Manager; a position she has held since her hiring in January of 2006.  Her previous experience includes:  Correspondent Mortgage Lending and Loan Origination, as well as, procedural implementation, post-closing accounting and training.  Additionally, she has had prior experience in financial services and insurance.  She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M-University at Commerce.

 

Wendi is active in her community with involvement in the American Cancer Society Board and the Dairy Festival Board.  Additionally, she, her husband and children are active at First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs.
