It was chalk art painting, oil paintings, rope and western art, and music, in the north section of Downtown Sulphur Springs as the newly formed Hopkins County Art League and the Veterans Memorial Organization sponsored an art exhibit and bake sale on Saturday. High school students from across Hopkins County participated in the first ever chalk art painting exhibit, as they created a number of scenes on the Alliance Bank Parking Lot.

"We want to provide an outlet for all local artists to become involved!"
