Sportsmen and vendors converged on the Winnsboro Civic Center, on Saturday, as the Big Nasty Hog Hunt conducted their opening ceremonies. "It looks like a great event again this year," expressed Jared Brumley, one of the organizers of the event. "We had 125 entries in this year's contest, so that means for a number of wild hogs being killed for the contest!"

These two young hunters have their sights set on killing a hog in this year's contest!!!

The Contest this year has added two new contest, one for hunting with guns and one for hunting with dogs, and received entries in both of the categories. "We're making an effort to provide something for every type of hog hunter," denoted Brumley. "We are looking forward to seeing the videos, as they come in!"

Rockhill Taxidermy of Sulphur Springs
was one of the vendors at Saturday's event.
