On Findings of Bones

We reported on Wednesday that the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office had been contacted by a landowner, off Highway-11 West, regarding some bones that had been dragged into his yard. Local law enforcement had answered the call and had sent the bones to be analyzed by an anthropologist at the crime lab.

"We have received preliminary results that the bones were that of a calf skull," reported Sheriff Butch Adams. "However, more test are being conducted to make certain that it is definitely that of a baby calf. We want to make certain in our assessment of the incident."
