It was an exciting morning at Como-Pickton School, Wednesday morning, when at 8:00 a.m., Senior Football Standout, Bryce Steele, signed his letter of intent, inking a scholarship to Southeastern Oklahoma State University, in Durant, Oklahoma. Steele a three year C-P Football Letterman, School Record Holder, and a participant in all sports at Como-Pickton, was accompanied at the signing by his father, Johny Steele, and Grandfather, Johnny Steele.

Looking on were Head Football Coach and Athletic Director, Conley Bland, and High School Principal, Dennis Carr. "This is a great, great opportunity for a very deserving young man," acknowledged Bland. "He's an outstanding athlete and this gives him the opportunity to play college football and attain a college education while playing a sport that he dearly loves!"

Steele joins a number of other Northeast Texas athletes that have been recruited by Southeastern Oklahoma State, in previous years!

Congratulations, Bryce!!!
