In Identifying Burglary Suspect

Sulphur Springs Police Department Investigator, Bo Fox, asks for your help in identifying a buglary suspect that is sought in connection with a 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 9th, burglary that occured in the 600 block of Gilmer Street, at the "Scrubbies" Car Wash, 641 Gilmer Street.

A woman planned to enter the washateria located at the Gilmer Street location, when she was approched by a heavy-set, black male, wearing a grey hoodie. The man knocked her down and took her purse, fleeing from the scene.

An "off-duty" Delta County officers was traveling down Gilmer Street and saw the suspect fleeing, and pursued chase. However, the suspect, dropped the purse, ran, and evaded the officer and was not located.
