Big Day at Catfish Classic
on Lake Fork, Saturday
by: Bobby McDonald
From Ken Freeman Outdoor Sports
It was certainly hot, on Saturday, but that didn't keep devoted fisherman from making their way to the water of Lake Fork for the 8th Annual Lake Fork Catfish Classic. Over 340 entries were received in the tournament, on Saturday, with many of the fisherman arriving on Friday, and up and on the waters early Saturday morning. "We'll even have a few more enter on Sunday," advised Ken Freeman, sponsor of the tournament. "I'm sure we'll go over 350 entries to make this the biggest catfish tournament on Lake Fork, yet! We've got entries from Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, and all across the U.S., and they're going for that big catfish!"

The waters of Lake Fork seem peaceful at sundown, on Saturday, but will continue to host
hundreds of fishermen, on Sunday, as the 2011 Catfish Classic continues.
