As Parade Marshal of Yantis Parade

Load up the kids and head for Yantis, on Saturday afternoon, in time to join the fun at the Yantis Caftish Parade. "It's a 'happening,' is about all you can say!" expressed Yantis Mayor Jerry E. Miller. "Everyone has a great time, loads of fun, and we're happy to be honoring City Secretary, Tonya Norris, for all of her hard work and dedication, as this year's Parade Marshal."

Tonya, who has served as Yantis City Secretary for the past eleven years, is the "glue" that holds everything together, according to Miller. "Tonya keeps all the records straight, keeps the water bills current, and tends to everything that I ask her to do!" relates Miller. "I'd hate to try to get through a day without her assistance.

Tonya is also a member of the Yantis ISD School Board of Trustees, serves in the children's department of First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs, for the past ten years, and is the mother of two teenage children, and helps husband, Trey, with his Cowboy Construction Business.

Wave at Tonya on Saturday and tell her how much you appreciate her tireless efforts in serving the Yantis community!
