Ribbon Cutting for CANHelpers on Friday, January 13th at Noon at the CANHelp Building

HSS has been providing security and home system services for residential and commercial businesses for 30 years.  Home Systems was founded by Doug Palmer in 1981 and in 2011 Doug and his wife  Carol opened the Sulphur Springs Office as HSS Home System Security.  They are a state licensed and insured security service provider that services all of NE Texas.

They service many types of businesses and applications in both provider and end-user environments.  They work with home builders, commercial builders, homeowners and corporate and retail facilities.

Ribbon Cutting at The ROC

Thank you to everyone who attended the ribbon cutting for The ROC, (the Recreation Outreach Center) at First Baptist Church. The facility was built for the community and is open to anyone in the community at no charge. There is a walking track, gymnasium, game room and eating area, as well as 18 classrooms and a catering kitchen. The ROC opens at 6:00 am Monday through Saturday and closes at 9:00 on weeknights, (5:00 pm on Wednesday) and noon on Saturday. The ROC is hosting an open house on Saturday, January 14, from 6:00 am until 2:00 pm.  For more information call First Baptist Church at 903-885-0646.

Several children from Sulphur Springs are involved in a mission project to help provide clean water for the kids and families of Chadirac, Haiti and they need your help.  You may purchase an adorable book called “Clean Water Elirose” written by Ariah Fine and illustrated by Don Robb for only $5…or more if you would like.  The books are available at the Chamber of Commerce, Plain & Fancy, Guaranty Bond Bank and CNB.
