1st Annual Advanced Heart Care @ Memorial Heart Walk, Feb. 9th @ 8:00am at Buford Park

Make plans now to participate in this Heart Walk.  There will be a Kid’s Fun Run, 5K and 10K.

The proceeds are going towards equipment needed for the cardiac care unit on the 2nd floor at HCMH.  The gala is working to provide the cardiac monitors needed for the cardiac unit, while the walk efforts will be for a new EKG machine, an ACT machine, and a Doppler machine, etc.

The last day to pre register, in order to guarantee a t-shirt is Jan 31st.  10K runners actually get a tech shirt, very similar to a Dri-fit T-shirt vs a regular t-shirt. You may register at Fieldhouse Sports or online at active.com.

Advanced Heart Care wants to encourage fellow heart attack survivors to come out and support the walkers/runners and they will recognize all of those survivors by giving out red bracelets to wear.  This is also a great opportunity for you to walk/run in memory of someone who has passed on from a heart attack.
