Shadow Ranch to host a Service Project Group from North Dakota…you could help too!

March 11th & 12th a group of 40 members of a church in North Dakota will be offering their services to Shadow Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center as a service project.  This is such a blessing to the ranch, but they need a little help.  They need to provide meals for the 40 volunteers for breakfast and lunch on the 12th.  If you or your organization will be willing to provide the meals, please contact Marion Cox at 214-604-8005.

Rotary Club Spelling Bee, Thursday, March 21st at SS Middle School

Don’t Miss the annual Rotary Club Spelling Bee, Thursday, March 21st at the Sulphur Springs Middle School Cafeteria (Please note the new location).  The meal will begin at 5:00 and the spelling bee will begin at 6:30.  The cost is only $10.  All proceeds go back to this community in the form of scholarships for graduating seniors of county schools and in grants for worthwhile organizations that do good things for Hopkins County.  In the past, recipients such as CASA, Dinner Bell, Our Place, Boys and Girls Club, Veterans Memorial, Backpack Buddies, Northeast Texas Livestock Association, Symphony League, Teen Court, Terrific Tuesdays, Workcamp, CAN Help, Friends of the Sulphur Springs Public Library, and many others have benefitted from the money Rotary contributes.  The theme this year is spring.  This is wide open to interpretation so costumes can be varied and fun!  Prizes are awarded for the team that displays the most spirit.

As always, we will have silent and live auctions with a wide array of items.  Auctioneer, Ronny Glossup, provides enough entertainment to be worth the price of a ticket.  For more information, please contact Markeda Fisher at Professional Land Title Company at 903-885-1586 or 903-348-3590.
