Ribbon Cutting for Anglers Pest & Termite Control at the Chamber office, Wednesday, April 11th
Please join us as we welcome Anglers Pest &Termite Control to the Chamber of Commerce. We will host their ribbon cutting on Wednesday, April 11th at Noon at the Chamber office at 300 Connally Street.
City Spring Clean up will be the week of April 9-14
City Wide Spring Clean will be the week of April 9-14th. All city residents may take furniture and other junk to the location on East Jefferson Street, past Flowserve from 7am-7pm. Household hazardous waste, appliances with refrigerant in them, tires, batteries, paint or chemicals will NOT be accepted. Must show a city utility bill along with a photo i.d.

Registration forms are available NOW for the 23rd Annual Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament that will take place on Friday, April 13th at the Sulphur Springs Country Club. If you would like more information, please call 903-885-6515. We only have a few tee times available for the afternoon!!! We have also finalized that Sulphur Springs Dodge, Jeep will be offering up a 2012 Jeep Wrangler for the first hole in one made on hole number 9 and Farm Country will be a Kubota RTV on hole 13! It could be your lucky day!!!

The Sulphur Springs Downtown Business Alliance presents History by Foot, Saturday April 21.
John Sellers will be hosting a walking tour of downtown Sulphur Springs and discover the history of some of our historical buildings and landmarks and learn what events took place where. This tour begins under the Magnolia tree next to the courthouse then to Church Street to First United Methodist Church then on to Davis, up Connally Street and then to the square. The tour will be quite different from the previous tours…you don’t want to miss this one! The tour is only $10 and tickets are on sale at Alliance Bank, City National Bank and the Genealogical Library. There will be two tours with the first one beginning at 9:15am and the second beginning at 11:00. For more information call 903-243-8769.
Crappie U.S.A. Kids Fishing Rodeo, Saturday, April 21st from 8-11
Crappie U.S.A. Kids Fishing Rodeo at Coleman Lake on Saturday, April 21st. Sign up is from 8-9 with the tournament from 9-11. Kids 12 & under may participate and there is no entry fee. Every young angler receives a free gift and an award will be presented for the most fish caught ages 7 and under and ages 8-12. All participants will be eligible to win one of six $1000 Scholarships to be drawn at the Crappie USA/King Kat Classic. A parent or guardian must accompany each youngster. Texas Hold’Em Tournament benefitting Shadow Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center, Sun, April 29th
Shadow Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center will host a Texas Hold’Em Tournament, Sun, April 29th at the Holiday Inn Express in Sulphur Springs.
