Business After Hours at Hopkins House, Thursday, June 21st, 5:00-6:30pm
Please stop by Hopkins House next Thursday and join us for their Business After Hours from 5-6:30. They will have food, refreshments and door prizes! Bring a friend!!!
Dairy Foods Contest, Saturday, June 16th
Entry divisions are: Beginning Cooks - ages 11 and under; Youthful Cooks - ages 12-18; Experienced Cooks - ages 19-59; and Seasoned Cooks - ages 60 and over. There is also a division for past and present Dairy Festival Board members. Entry categories are: Cheesecake/other desserts; Side Dish; Main Dish; and Appetizers/Nutritious Snacks.
There is no charge to enter, but entrants must be Hopkins County residents, and recipes must include at least two real dairy products. Written entries are due to the Extension Office by 5:00 p.m. on June 11. The contest will take place at the Extension Office, with registration of dishes from 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Judging will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by an awards presentation at approximately 11:15 a.m. Contact Johanna Hicks for more information - 903-885-3443.

Independence Day Celebration on the Beautiful new Square, Saturday, June 30th beginning at 6:30
Please join us for the Independence Day Celebration on the Square featuring the Northeast Texas Symphony Orchestra along with the Northeast Texas Choral Society! This year they will be dedicating the Veterans Memorial at 6:30, with the concert and fireworks following!
