 Would you like to recognize an Outstanding Educator?

Here is your chance...this year the Chamber of Commerce Education Committee want tos allow all Hopkins County Citizents to nominate their candidates from "Outstanding Professional Educator" (administrator, couselor, diagnostician, or teacher), "Outstanding Para Professiona" (secretary or aide), and "Outstanding Auxiliary Educator" (maintenance, custodial, transportation, nurse or cafeteria). We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to nominate that "special educator" that has had an impact in their lives. You many pick up a nomination form at the Chamber office at 300 Connally Street and then either fax, e-mail or mail it in, no later than December 31st! East Texas Heat Holiday Hitting Camp! 

Help your daughter get ready for the next softball season. We will work the different aspects of the swing with emphasis on the top hand, the back hip, and seeing the ball to the bat by working numerous drills that will advance their swing. Your daughter will be coached by some of the best in East Texas.

The cost for the camp is $40. It will be held at the East Texas Heat Academy which is located 2.9 miles south of I30 on the west side. There is a picture of the facility on our website, www.ssbaseballacademy.com. Each participant will get a t-shirt. You can preregister by emailing or texting the information below or replying to the ad on our facebook site. When you preregister, please put your name, your child’s name, phone number, and shirt size. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me..
