Give From the Heart

It was an excited group from the Heart of Hope Counseling Center that received over $6500.00, on Thursday, as the quarterly recipients of the Chicks for Charity donation. One of the newest groups in Sulphur Springs, the Chicks for Charity group selects a local, non-profit charity that receives a $50.00 donation from each of its members. And, a new group is chosen each quarter.

The Hearts of Hope Counseling and Crisis Center is a non-profit agency that aids teens who find themselves pregnant, with counseling, classes, and a sense of direction in making wise choices.

 

 

"We're just so excited to be giving this important group a helping hand, as they go about doing a great work in our community," expressed Dee Elliott, Chairman of this quarter's gift giving committee. "It's great to see your charitable dollars working in such a worthy manner, right before your eyes!
