One of the newest organizations in town is making a huge difference in the budgets of local charitable organizations, as the Chicks For Charity made another quarterly donation on Thursday, to the Heritage Christian Counseling Center, on Thursday, at noon. The Chicks for Charity Organization, composed of approximately on-hundred women, meets quarterly and chooses a local charity for their donation and awards them with the collection from their meeting.

"We have collected $5900.00 to present to the Heritage Christian Counseling Center for this quarter and more checks will be delivered as they come in," advised Mandy Kennedy, Chair of the organization. "We invite anyone to join us, that is interesting in making a charitable difference in Hopkins County!"

Thursday's donation to the Heritage Christian Counseling Center was described as a "godsend," by the staff at the organization, that told of providing counseling services for youth and adults and having an increased need once school starts and during the upcoming holiday season. "We make it a policy to turn no one away that needs our services, and this will allow us to service the needs of Hopkins County," explained staff members. "We want to thank these women for making a difference in our budget and helping the people of Hopkins County with special needs!"

The Chicks for Charity organization have already planned their November meeting for November 8th, at First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, so make plans to attend and help make a difference with this growing organization!
