Northeast Texas Choral Society Prepares
for 15th Anniversary Christmas Concert
"A Dickens Christmas"
by: Bobby McDonald
Imagine a 100 plus member chorus, dressed in Victorian costume, singing your favorite Christmas songs! Well, that's what is planned for the 15th Anniversary Northeast Texas Choral Society Christmas Concert, staged for December 1st & 2nd, from the Civic Center Auditorium.
Members of the choral group are faithfully meeting on each Monday night for rehearsals to plan this year's "A Dickens Christmas" and things are "seeming alot like Christmas!"
"We have a number of selections that you're sure to enjoy!" reveals Carol Allen, Director of the local choral group. "And, expect some surprises, that I don't even know about! You'll just have to wait and see what Dr. Baulkom and his group come up with!"

"From some of those surprises, that have delighted audiences in the past, I just 'shutter' at what they might be planning!" acknowledged a somewhat apprehensive Allen. "They always have some big surprise!"

Among the selections are:
"Ring the Bells"
"Go Tell It On the Mountain"
"Hallelujah from Mount of Olives"
"Do You Hear What I Hear?"
and many more!

Mark your calendar, purchase your tickets, and get ready for an exciting evening of entertainment, by the Northeast Texas Choral Society!
