Opens Friday, July 20th

Shining Star Productions proudly presents their summer children’s theatre production of Disney’s Classic “ Cinderella.” The show will open on Friday, July 20th at 7:00 pm at the Hopkins County Civic Center Auditorium and will also have performances on Saturday, July 21st at 7:00 pm, and Sunday, July 22nd at 2:30 pm. There will also be a special Saturday matinee performance at 2:30 pm featuring a cast of Shining Star’s younger performers. The cast and crew will be under the direction of Amanda Thompson Brandenburgh, who has delighted audiences with her children’s productions of “James and the Giant Peach”, Disney’s “Aladdin”, and most recently “The Wizard of Oz.”
This year’s production of Disney’s “Cinderella” is sure to please and guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Guests will be entertained with song and dance, be dazzled by beautiful costumes, and will leave with a warm affection of singing mice and an enchanted romance with a happily ever after ending! Advance tickets are $10 and can be purchased at Alliance Bank, Hopkins County Civic Center Ticket Booth, or any cast member. Tickets will also be available at the door for $12.
Tickets for Cinderella’s Royal Brunch are by reservation only and can be made by calling Shining Star Productions at 903-438-5217. This special event package includes a royal brunch, ticket to the show, a beautiful rhinestone tiara, a commemorative 5x7 photo, special backstage tour, and a sneak peek at one of the musical numbers from the show. Special combo price for this event is $25.
