
For the third year in a row, a sales executive from the Sulphur Springs Staff has won the Clayton Homes

Williams Named to Prestigious "Top Gun Sales Award"

Michael Williams, a three year member of the Clayton Homes Staff, and a member of the Sulphur Springs Sales Team, has been named to the Top Gun Sales Award at Clayton Homes. The award is for top sales in the nation, within the Maryville, Tennessee, based Clayton Homes, and represents being the 2nd highest sales executive in the company. Williams and his wife, Donna, and two daughters, Caitlyn and Macey, make their home in Sulphur Springs.

"We just want to say thank you to Michael for reaching this level of salesmanship, within our company," expressed Steve Brady, as he announced the award. "Michael and his associates, out selling homes, is what keeps our plant growing and keeps employing all of those who make this their local career choice!"
Michael was presented with the award, at a company celebration and hot dog dinner, on Thursday. "This is the third year in a row that a sales executive from our team here in Sulphur Springs has won the coveted award," denoted Brady. "Deuce Young was named to the award in 2010 and Chris Southerland won the award last year. I think this says something about the workforce that we maintain here in Sulphur Springs and their dedication to quality service to our many, many customers!"

Meanwhile, it was on Thursday that it was announced that local Clayton Homes Plant Manager, Steve Duncan, has accepted a promotion to Company Vice-President of Retail Relations, and will be leaving for his new position in Knoxville, Tennessee. The new Sulphur Springs Plant Manager, Donie Wood, a twenty-year veteran with Clayton Homes has already arrived and is looking forward to being a part of the Sulphur Springs, greater Hopkins County area. "Everyone has been so nice and welcoming here in Sulphur Springs," expressed Wood. "I've called the Knoxville area home for the past 20 years, but am really looking forward to meeting everyone in the Hopkins County area and continuing the excellence that has become a standard here at this Sulphur Springs facility! I enjoy meeting new people and look toward becoming involved in your community!"
The staff at Clayton Homes enjoyed a hot dog dinner, on Thursday, in celebration of the local
company's success.
