
At Least Two Native Texans Among
Colorado Movie Theater Victims
From Various Reports
At least two native Texans were among those killed in the assault on the Aurora, Colorado movie theater, where a lone gunman opened fire on those seeing the opening of the new "Batman" movie.
Identified from Texas are:
Austin native, Gordon W. Cowden, age 51, and the oldest victim. Cowden was reared in Austin, Texas, and was said to be the father of four children. His family lives in Austin.
And, Quinlan, Texas, native Rebecca Ann Wingo, listed as 32 years old and the mother of two daughters. Reports are the Wingo was a waitress at Joe's Crab Shack and was a student at the Aurora Community College.
