Cooper's The Little Chef Restaurant
Offers Relaxed Atmosphere & Great Food

Are you looking for somewhere different to eat? How about a short drive to Cooper, Texas, to experience some great food, in a relaxed atmosphere? Then, the place to go is "The Little Chef Restaurant," located at 1101 W. Dallas Avenue, in Cooper!

Owner and chef, Elias C. Richa will welcome you to his establishment and make certain that you leave with a smile on your face. Elias has brought his great food, from the Metroplex, to Cooper, after over 25 years in the upscale restaurant business, in that location. "I purchased a farm, in the Ben Franklin Community, and decided that I wanted to 'get out of the rat race' of the Metroplex, and offer great food in a much more relaxed atmosphere," related Elias. "I wanted to wear jeans to work and wanted my customers to feel comfortable wearing them too!"

Elias' The Little Chef Restaurant is open Tuesdays - Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and features one nightly dinner meal, on Friday night's only.

After moving from Lebanon to Paris, Texas, where Elias had some friends, in 1974, he fell in love with Texas and America. In 1977, he established The Little Chef in Plano, Texas. He returned to Northeast Texas, in Cooper, in March of 2010, and opened at the current location.

"We serve breakfast all day, and feature the 'Early Bird Special' Tuesday-Friday mornings, from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., for $3.99," allowed Elias. "It's a wake you up kind of breakfast and finds many of the locals coming over to enjoy an early breakfast, and all the local news and conversation!"

I enjoyed a "Bulldog," 1/2 pounder, bacon cheeseburger, served with French fries, for a modest price of $6.99, and highly recommend it to anyone!

Other offerings, all modestly priced include: Chopped Steak, a "Texas Sized" Chicken Fried Steak, Catfish filets, Liver and Onions, Grilled Chicken Breast, Chicken Fajitas, and even a Talapia filet.

The Breakfast that is served all day features omelette platters, served with fresh-made Italian hashbrowns, and are priced from $6.99-7.49.

And, if you're not too full, Elias offers both New York Cheesecake w/strawberry topping, or Southern Pecan Pie, for dessert!

Make you way to Cooper and enjoy Elias' cooking and the great, great hospitality! You'll certainly enjoy the trip and one of the best meals around!
