The Como-Pickton Eagles fell to 1-6, in district play, following a close 44-36 loss to Grand Saline. The Eagles led after the first period, 10-9, but were trailing, 25-22, at the halftime intermission. And, the Eagles could never "catch-up" during the second half of the game, to overcome the Indians' assault, especially a 12 point scoring drive, during the final period, that landed the Indians "on top," Friday night.

Corbin Flora led the Eagles' effort with 12 points; other contributors included: Steele 3; Tellez 4; Humphrey 3, Robinson 2.
