The Como-Pickton Eagles traveled to Alba-Golden, Friday night, and brought home a key win, in the season's match-ups, in District Play. The Eagles, supported by a huge crowd from home, gained a first half-lead of 23-14, and that made the difference in the victory, as each team scored identical 24 points in the second-half, of a hard-fought battle.

 

"I'm proud of my team and their continued effort in the game and never giving up, until the final buzzer, against a tough team," expressed Coach Roy Moody. "And, I want to thank the Como-Pickton fans who traveled with us and made the difference with their support from the stands! It was a great night of basketball for the Como-Pickton Eagles and fans!"
