Como-Pickton Hosts Community Bingo,
Saturday Night
by: Bobby McDonald
It was community bingo at Como-Pickton School, on Saturday night, hosted by the PTO. A "full house" of community residents and supports assembled at the school cafeteria to play bingo, with hopes of some very nice prizes donated by local businesses. "It's an opportunity to come out and support the Como-Pickton PTO and to enjoy a night of fun!" exclaimed one of the participants. "We haven't bingoed much, but we've certainly had a good time!"

"This is just a perfect way to end a beautiful day!" added Gerald Walters, who attended with his wife, Sherry. "We're supporting the school and having fun visiting with our neighbors!"
The school cafeteria was full of community residents and if the shouts of "bingo" from the crowd was any indication, the crowd was having a great time on a Saturday night in Como-Pickton.
