to Pittburg Pirates, 55-53

The Como-Pickton Eagles met some "street ball" on Tuesday night, as they hosted the Pittsburg Pirates in a non-district match-up, that proved to be an outstanding game. The Eagles "stayed-up" with the Pirates as they rose to the challenge and led the battle for much of three quarters, losing the fray in the last minute of the ball game, as a result of some costly errors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"This is some of the best basketball I've seen in a couple of years," remarked Bunky Hill, longtime Como-Pickton Eagles fan. "And, our guys did an outstanding job of playing some tough basketball and they were doing it without senior, Corbin Flora, who is on the sidelines with a broken rib!"
