Como-Pickton Elementary Learns
"Trustworthy" to Build Character
From Laurie Bult
Como-Pickton Elementary revs up for another great school year as we get on the right track with good character. For the first six weeks we are learning about Trustworthiness. During our Friday Morning Live (FML) program we recognized our first group of Go Getters and made them honorary pit crew members. Once a six weeks, classroom teachers recognize students who exemplify the character trait, have good attendance and outstanding behavior as Go Getters. Also during our FML, we honored our Custodial and Maintenance staff through the Winner’s Circle. Pre Kindergarten classes and families sponsored the Custodial & Maintenance Appreciation Week and made a banner, treats, and a special breakfast. As you can see, our students, staff, and families are driven to succeed!

Trustworthiness Cup Winner, First Grader, Boston Peeks. He won $100 Eagle bucks in his
Gold Cup and helped escort the members of the Winner’s Circle to breakfast.
Congratulations Como-Pickton Elementary!!!
