It's been a long, long season for the Como-Pickton Eagles, a both young and small team, but they ended the season on a very positive note, in Paris Chisum, Friday night, by bringing home a 49-35 victory for the team and fans.

"This gives us something to build on for next year," advised Coach Conley Bland, in his first year as head coach at Como-Pickton. "It was a great win and a morale booster for the team, that has played hard all year!"

Additionally, Eagles Senior, Bryce Steele, who has been the standout on the team for the past three seasons, completed a personal goal of having a 300+ game, as he completed a 305 yard performance in Paris. The 305 yards gives him a total of 1,894 yards for the season. Steele scored five of the team's touchdowns, on Friday night.

Senior Bryce Steele completed 305 total yards in Friday night's effort against Paris Chisum.

"It was great to see Bryce make his 300 yards in one game and show what he can do," expressed Bunky Hill, a devoted follower of the team. "Bryce is a great young man with loads of talent, so it was great to see him perform well in his final high school game!"

Now, it's time for the Eagles to come back home, use the experience they've gained this season, and build on a program that has much promise in the underclassmen, as they advance and look toward next year.
