Como-Pickton Takes Victory
Over Lone Oak, Tuesday Night

The Como-Pickton Eagles took an important district win, on Tuesday night, as they faced the Lone Oak Buffaloes. Lone Oak took the lead in the first quarter, but the Eagles' defense came back and held the Buffaloes scoreless during the second quarter, while the Eagles added 8 points to their score. The Eagles led 17-12 at the halftime.

"We want to thank the crowd of fans, who came out to support us," expressed Coach Roy Moody. "They never let the momentum slip and we came back with an advantage in the third quarter, and finished with matching baskets in the fourth period, to take the win 44-34!"
