Spirit was high and excitement built as Como-Pickton School hosted their annual Homecoming Pep Rally on Friday afternoon, in the school gym. The pep rally was another event to celebrate Homecoming Week at the school, which had begun the previous week, with the naming of the 2007 Homecoming Court.

Cheerleaders introduced the Como-Pickton Eagle Football Team, and then each Homecoming Court Nominee and her mother were introduced. Then, the three Duchesses, representing the freshman, sophomore, and junior classes, along with their mothers were introduced.

A "little bit of fun" was enjoyed when members of the audience and the Eagle Football Team were brought to the middle of the gym floor and given the opportunity to try their skills at the "hula hoop." Some managed to get the "hang of it," while others may still be trying to master the skills!

Music was provided by the Eagle Band and everyone was "fired-up" to attend Homecoming Activities that began at 6:40 p.m., at Ron Heflin Stadium, Friday night!

Go Eagles, Beat Celeste!!!!
