Competes at State in Corpus Christi

Members of the Como-Pickton Skills USA Team competed in state competition, on Friday and Saturday, in Corpus Christi.

Members receiving awards included: Joey Satterfielde and Jose Mejia 1st Place superior rating Coffin, Marco Gonzalez, John Martinez, and Beto Guerrero 1st place superior rating Chase Lounge Chair 1st Place superior rating, Ricardo Mejia, Nerly Ramirez, and Gustavo Salazar 1st place superior rating Coffee Table, Cole Mitchell 1st place superior rating Bar, and Antonio Torrez 2nd place excellent rating Bench.

 

 

 

 

While in Corpus Christi, the students enjoyed visiting South Padre Island, the USS Lexington, and an Ice Rays game.

The group was accompanied by Tony Glasscock, Skills USA Advisor, and C-P Principal, Penny Armstrong.
