Como-Pickton Names
Teacher of the Month

Mrs. Christi Singleton, Junior High English Language Arts Teacher has been named Teacher of the Month for February at CPCISD.  Mr. Stuard, JH Principal presented Mrs. Singleton with her certificate and Chili’s gift certificates.  Mrs. Singleton has taught many years at Como-Pickton and is a favorite among students and staff alike. 

Several of her nominators mentioned how she always goes above and beyond for her students.  One parent stated, “Mrs. Singleton inspired my son to write.  No one else had ever come close!”  Several of her colleagues stated she was most deserving of this honor and recognition.  Mr. Stuard shared the following sentiments, “Christi is well deserving of this honor.

 

 

 

At any time one walks by her classroom there is teaching and assessing on a consistent basis happening. Christi is never reluctant to go the extra mile for students whether they are in any of her classes or not. Her dedication to the teaching profession is self-evident along with her enthusiasm on a day to day basis.

Congrats to Christi once again as we at CPCISD are thankful to have you as one of us!”  Mrs. Singleton commented, “Thank you to all for the sincere congrats on Teacher of the Month, but there are so many more deserving than me. Being on staff with you guys and gals is an honor. I love you all and thank you so much for the vote of confidence.”
