Thursday morning Como-Pickton announced CPCISD's Teacher of the Month, Ms. Angela Green. Ms. Green has worked on the elementary campus for many years. She provided the following information upon the announcement of this honor. I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten and 2nd Grade. Each grade level has its advantages and disadvantages. Sometimes grade level wear you out physically and others wear you out mentally. Education has changed over the years, we seem to wear more hats than ever, but children still love to learn, which is why I still love teaching!

 

 

Ms. Green was nominated by a variety of individuals including parents, staff, and community members. Almost every nominator mentioned how organized, structured, and prepared she is. Several stated she truly teaches every student in the classroom and her students consistently perform at a superior level. Mrs. Latta, Elementary Principal, wrote, "My sincerest congratulations to you for Teacher of the Month! Day in and day out you have been an inspiration to your students and to this district! May you enjoy your time to shine!" Mrs. Green is truly a shining star at Como-Picton ISD.
