by: Bobby McDonald
It was another disappointment for a young Como-Pickton Eagles, on Friday night, as they hosted the Edgewood Bulldogs at Ron Heflin Field, as they were defeated 55-20. The season has been a long one for the Eagles, who still strive each week to please their fans, in search of a win for the season. Friday night's effort found the Eagles trailing the Bulldogs, 27-6, at the halftime intermission.
The eagles scored two more touchdowns during the second half of play, but were overpowered, when the Bulldogs added another 28 points during the same period.
The Eagles will travel to Clarksville, next Friday night, as they continue district play.
