This 100% Hopkins County wine was the ONLY Texas wine to win an award! We feel so honored to be able to showcase what our wonderful county can produce!

Folks all across the world are recognizing what we here in Hopkins County already know. Hopkins County's Crump Valley Winery was notified this week that their 100% Hopkins County 2011 Blanc Du Bois Special Reserve had won a silver medal and Grand Harvest Award in California competition.  It was the only Texas wine that won an award in the competition.

The 2011 Blanc du Bois Special Reserve was awarded a Silver Medal at the 2012 Grand Harvest Awards sponsored by Vineyard & Winery Management in California.

 

"Winemaking is a combination of many, many factors!" exclaimed Susan Jones, winemaker at Crump Valley Vineyards & Winery. "But, this proves that we can compete with grapes grown here in Hopkins County and make a quality wine that is appealing to the world!
