"Everything was bleeding maroon and white," Friday night as the climax of Homecoming week at Cumby High School came to fruition, with the crowning of the 2007 Homecoming King and Queen, in a pre-game coronation. Earlier two couples from the freshman, sophomore, junior and senior classes had been selected for the 2007 Homecoming Court. Then, by secret ballot, the student body had chosen the 2007 King and Queen, but it wasn't revealed, until Friday night's ceremony. A large crowd of current and former Cumby High School students and supporters packed the stands, as 2006 King and Queen, Miles Parker and Stephanie Myers crowned seniors Kris Stanford and Scarlett Tarno, as the 2007 royalty. Stanford a senior wide-receiver for the Trojan Football Team and Tarno an outstanding member of the Lady Trojan Volleyball Team were revealed to the crowd amidst loud applause.

Following the Cumby Trojan Football Game, Cumby High School hosted the annual traditional Homecoming Dance, in the school cafetorium, where students enjoyed a night of fun, to end Homecoming activities.
