Heer and Patridge Named
2011 Cumby Homecoming King and Queen
by: Bobby McDonald
In the highlight of a week-long 2011 Homecoming celebration at Cumby High School, CHS Seniors, Brandon Heer and Valerie Patridge were named the 2011 Cumby Homecoming King and Queen, on Friday night, during halftime activities. Heer, quarterback of the Cumby Trojan Football Team, and Patridge, a member of the Lady Trojan Volleyball Team, were chosen by secret ballot, by the student body, and revealed as this year's royalty, before a large crowd.
From dressing for a "powder puff" day, to riding thru the streets of Cumby, in Wednesday night's Homecoming Parade, students at Cumby High School had participated in something every day for the past week, as they got ready for the coronation on Friday night, and the Homecoming Dance that followed the game.

Nominees for this year's Homecoming King and Queen were:
Alex Duck and Cody Anderson, Freshmen
Karson Goggans and Nick Folse, Freshmen
Candace Horocks and Dustin Heer, Sophomores
Grace Campbell and Jaden Duck, Sophomores
Franziska Walther and Luke Sartin, Juniors
Karli Emmons and Caleb Penland, Juniors
Courtney Salinas and Brandon Heer, Seniors
Valerie Patridge and Reese Walker, Seniors

Congratulations!!!
