Friday March 2nd The Cumby Lady Trojan won the THSWPA Region III Division III Championship at Canton High School.

 

 

 

 

The Lady Trojans had qualified 8 girls for the regional meet Taylor Gifford, Krystin Krodle, Courtney Salinas, Kayla Akers, Molly Nance, Brianna Stone, Taylor Petty and Breanna Gay. Six lifters medaled (1st-5th) and five qualified for the State Meet.

Krystin Krodle placed 1st in the 123’s
Courtney Salinas placed 2nd in the 132’s
Molly Nance placed 2nd in the 181’s
Kayla Akers placed 3rd in the 165’s
Taylor Gifford placed 3rd in the 123’s
Brianna Stone placed 4th in the 198’s

Krystin Krodle, Courtney Salinas, Kayla Akers, Molly Nance, and Breanna Gay all qualified for the THSWPA State Meet held in Corpus Christi on March 17th.
