Cumby Trojans Take 14-0 Victory
Over Hawkins Hawks
by: Bobby McDonald
Stats from Coach James Johnson

It was a great shut-out win for the Cumby Trojans, before a home crowd at Frazier-Lawrence Field, on Friday night, as the Trojans took the victory 14-0, over the Hawkins Hawks. The first half of the ball game proved to be a battle of the defense, as the match-up went to the halftime scoreless. However, it was a score for the Trojans in the third quarter with a scamper into the end zone by quarterback Luke Sartin, that put the Trojans on the scoreboard and Potts PAT was good. Then, a 4th quarter touchdown added another TD for the Trojans as Sophomore Cody Anderson plowed across the goal line, in a series that he'd managed most of the yardage up the middle of the football field. It was a superlative game for Sophomore Anderson, throughout the night.
