Courtney Salinas = (Win) 5 innings, 4 hits, 2 runs (2 earned runs), 4 walks and 9 strikeouts.

Cumby record is now 1-1 in District and will travel to Saltillo this Friday starting at 6 pm.

 

 

 

 

 

I am pleased on how we came out today and was the aggressor. Salinas pitched very well today and was focused from the very first batter. Her command was good and she was able to move her pitches inside and out. Defense picked up and made some key plays. We still had a couple of misplays that will hopefully be corrected before this Friday. Playing Saltillo this week is going to be a test for us because of how good they are in every aspect of the game. We are going to just have to relax and play the game and see what happens. We can't get frustrated if something goes wrong......It is a 7 inning game and a lot can happen over that time. I know the kids will be focused because they want to prove that they belong in the same league as Saltillo.
