Trojans Fall to Alba-Golden in 21-15
"Heated Match-up"
by: Bobby McDonald
The Cumby Trojans traveled to Alba-Golden on Friday night, for their season opener, and met-up with the Panthers on their "home turf," in intense heat. The game was a solid match-up between two teams who were evenly matched and resulted in a contest that came down to mistakes and being able to take advantage of them. The Trojans, even in the fourth quarter had the opportunity to move ahead, but suffered an interception, that ultimately ended the possibility for victory, for them on Friday night!
The Trojans played a good game and managed to survive the heat, that plagues everyone, here in the early season of 2011.
