Cumby Lady Trojans End Great Season
With Play-Off Loss to Avery

A great Cumby Lady Trojans Volleyball team took their game to Paris, on Thursday night, and were disappointed to see their season end, in the Area round of play, with a defeat by Avery. The three set match was determined when the Lady Trojans fell behind in the first two sets. However, they continued the fight and gave a very valiant effort in the third set, losing in a close 25-22 finale.

Now, most of the Lady Trojans will move their efforts to basketball season, which has already begun.

The Lady Trojans finished the season with an overall record of 25-13  and a district record of 9-2. 
They were ranked at #13 in the state on the Texas Girls' Coaches Association State Poll.
