Mother's Culture Club Hosts
Daddy-Daughter Date Nite, Saturday
By: Bobby McDonald

It's certain to be a special night for young girls in Hopkins County, on Saturday night, as once again the Mother's Culture Club is hosting their annual Daddy-Daughter Date Nite, where father's can take their special young ladies out "for a night on the town!"
Club member Jessica Wassen advised that the event is planned from 7:00 -9:00 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church Family Life Center, and will feature light refreshments, a dance, and a period for crafts. "Last year the girls made a boutineer for their dads and a bracelet for themselves," stated Wassen. "Anyone is welcome, but it's mainly designed for elementary age girls and their dads, to have a special night together!"

Last year was the first time that the Mother's Culture Club offered this event and it was such a success, with almost 100 dad's taking the opportunity to spend quality time with their daughters, that it was soon decided to offer the same format for this year. "It's a special time for our young ladies and the men in their lives," stated Wassen. "And, it doesn't have to be just the dad, it can be fathers, grandfathers, step-dads, or anyone that is significant in the young lady's life!"
Tickets are $20.00 each and includes a 5 x 7 picture that will be taken by a professional photographer, at the event, marking the occasion.
"We're just so excited to be able to host such an event, that makes such lasting memories for the young ladies in our community!" expressed Wassen. "We're delighted to be a part of making special memories!"
Tickets can be purchased from any Mother's Culture Club members, or at NetData Inc., located at #2 Kozy Lane, in Sulphur Springs. For additional information, you may call Jessica Wassen at (903)243-1876, or Gena Prickett at (903)243-4534.
