Mother's Culture Club Builds Memories
With Daddy-Daughter Date Night

We "pried" a smile from Miss Hallie Lawrence, as she arrived with
her dad, Danny Lawrence, for Saturday night's event!

 

The young men in Hopkins County 1-15 years old, were the losers on Saturday night! If they think that someday they will be able to "pry" these young ladies from their daddy's arms, they've got an "uphill" battle! It was the annual Mother's Culture Club Daddy-Daughter Date Night and featured fathers (and some grandfathers) in Hopkins County bringing their daughters on a date, for a night of entertainment and dancing!

"I'm secretly enjoying every minute of this," advised one father of a pre-teen young lady. "Because as hard as it's going to be, I know before I can turn around, she's going to be going with some little boy to things like this. But, I'm going to teach her how he should be treating her, and enjoy this just as long as I can!"

 

Saturday night's event was hosted in the Activity Center of First United Methodist Church and featured dinner, dancing, crafts, and of course, loads of pictures, as fathers "steped out" with their daughters for an evening of quality time and sharing! "We definitely aren't ready for the boys!" exclaimed another father. "Don't rush things any faster than they already are going! I'm already oiling my shotgun!"

"This is one of the most popular events of the year," explained one of the Mother's Culture Club members. "Young girls look forward all year to the night with their dads, buying dresses, getting their hair fixed, and all the other necessary preparations for a night out with their dad!"
