Queen Lindsey McCormack Reigns
Over 53rd Annual Hopkins County Dairy Festival Parade

There's certainly something to be said for "versatility," as Reigning Hopkins County Dairy Festival Queen, Lindsey McCormack, had  a soft landing in a hot air balloon at approximately 7:30 a.m. and was dressed in a stunning formal, atop the Queen's float by 9:30 a.m. to reign over Saturday's 53rd Annual Hopkins County Dairy Festival Queen. "If I can milk a cow and then serve ice cream, I can do anything!" quipped Lindsey, as she got ready to greet the parade watchers, on Saturday morning!

Lindsey was joined by two former Hopkins County Dairy Festival Queens, 1962 Queen Linda Bennett Booker, and 2002 Queen Hilary Harris Hill. The third queen, 1987 Queen Kathy Brannon Granger, had to regretfully cancel at the last minute, due to a hospitalized child. We wish her child a speedy recovery and hope to see her soon!

Saturday's parade was led by Parade Marshall, William "Bill" Zahn.
